Digital Learning... Month! Oh! A Prize! Read on....

Each school day in February, I will highlight a different learning resource that you could try out in your classroom - ranging from animation software to podcasting to Google Apps.  Each tool was chosen for ease of use, low price (aka free) and the fact that they can be used to have an immediate positive impact on your class. Each post will contain a description of what that particular tool does, how you can use it with your classes and examples of how others are using it.

Each time you use a tool (or if you have used the tool in the past), I would like you to make a comment at the bottom of the page for that tool describing how you used it and what your overall impression was about how effective it was in improving learning and teaching in your classroom.  Or, please comment on how you see yourself using the tool in the future.  By leaving a constructive comment, you will help everyone who views this blog have a better understanding of how each tool can be used in schools.  Sometimes by seeing the responses of others, it will spark in you an idea for a project you might never have considered. Additionally, (and this is the best part) every time you leave a constructive comment, your name will be entered into a raffle to win something really great.  I can’t say it here, but it rhymes with “a mift pard to test guy.”  (Contest eligible for DDE teachers only.)  Please leave your name and grade level in the comment area.  Otherwise, how will I know who is using the blog and who to enter into the contest?  (Constructive comments will be approved and posted within 24 hours. This contest ends March 3, 2012)

Most importantly.... Have fun learning.   I hope you bring away some knowledge from this challenge.

  1. To comment... All you do is type in the text box and use the drop down menu to pick a "profile." You will see that I choose "Anonymous," and just included my name in the text box. OR you can choose name/url and type your name there. OR you can sign in using any of the listed profiles that you might already be a member of. (Just be sure I can tell who left the comment for raffle credit!) :o) Also remember I have to approve each comment, so your comment won't show up immediately. ~Susan (IRT)
